Hannibal, Missouri - The Home of Admiral Robert E. Coontz

mtstmbt_000.jpg

This year, the USS Coontz All Hands Reunion will be held at the Quality Inn & Suites in Hannibal, MO, August 15-17, 2008. Hannibal is the hometown of our ship's namesake, Admiral Robert E. Coontz. It is also the site of the largest surviving piece of the USS Coontz (DLG-9/DDG-40). The transom and an accompanying plaque were dedicated at Hannibals' Nipper Park in 2007, the 50th anniversary of the laying of the keel of the ship. Mount Olivet Cemetary in Hannibal is also the final resting place of Admiral Coontz.

There are two different ways to register. You can download the registration form, fill it out and mail it, along with your payment in check or money order to the address on the form. Make checks payable to "Terry Cordingley".
